Airen 4D for CINEMA 4D

It uses AI models to create realistic “renderings” based on 3D geometry and text cues.

Airen 4D integrates the Stable Diffusion AI model importer with Cinema 4D, allowing you to create “rendered” images from simple source geometry and text cues. This process adds geometric details, materials, and lighting (materials can be set on a per-object basis) and replicates the effects of normally rendering the scene. According to the Twitter announcement, the software runs offline and allows users to choose which Stable Diffusion AI model to use.

The generated images have no resolution limitations and rendering speeds are “very fast”.

The plugin can do “much more” than it initially appears, including creating AI backgrounds and 360-degree skies.

Still images, especially suitable for initial design exploration

Initially, Airen 4D's primary use appears to be static images. Merk points out that without customized training data, “AI is still not powerful enough to achieve consistent animations.” Because objects may have different shapes between the initial geometry and the final image, this workflow seems more suitable for early design exploration rather than detailed visualization. However, users can choose the degree of AI influence on the geometry, including choosing a raw "one-to-one pixel-perfect copy."
